Tripwire docs
Quickstart
Install the server with npx @tripwire/mcp and add it to your agent's MCP configuration with your owner wallet address. The agent now sees request_action, check_policy and get_budget.
Create a delegate in the dashboard, fund it with a small amount of SOL and USDC, and sign your first policy. Until a policy is signed, every request is blocked.
The three tools
request_action takes a transaction and a short intent. Tripwire simulates it, checks it against the signed policy and signs with the delegate key only on a pass. The response includes the verdict and a plain-language reason.
check_policy lets the agent ask whether an action would pass without sending it. get_budget returns the remaining per-action cap and daily budget so the agent can plan within its limits.
Why prompts cannot bypass it
Limits are enforced outside the model. The agent never holds a key that can sign outside the policy, so injected instructions or clever wording cannot move funds.
Policy changes require a signature from the owner wallet. The agent can read its rules but cannot edit them, and you can revoke a delegate at any time.
